Colleen’s Testimony:

My name is Colleen Barry-Sleicher. I always felt so lucky living in the US with all the opportunities we have. As a woman I realized it was because of past generations that I have the freedoms to do and become anything. I own a business in construction for 9 and ½ years now. I served in the US Armed Forces and cherish the rights in this country. I care about people in general and served in the US Peace Corp after college.

I have always been concerned about the Women, men and families that had suffered from abortion.

I have always been concerned about the false statements made regarding abortion as anything but the destructive act it is, especially the notion of connecting abortion to Women’s Rights. About 5 years ago I decided to attend a March for Life in DC.

After the March I saw a group of women speaking out side of the Supreme Court. My heart was broken hearing what these women had gone through. I was so taken aback and also impressed these women had put an effort together to let others know how destruction Abortion is and that it cannot have any positive affect on a person life.

The opportunity for others that are suffering from abortion to know there is help available is crucial for individual and society.

It is so important the women of SNM speak out. So many young girls and women, along with their family and friends have been told such incorrect information about abortion. It is very important they hear the actual truth.

I have such respect for the women and men of SNM. They do not even realize the far reaching affect they have on everyone’s life with their unbelievable strength and courage.

I do what I can to help SNM get the word out in the NYC Metro area.

No one else should have to suffer at the hands of abortion.
