Coming to Terms

  Chelsea
California,  United States

I had an abortion because my family pressured me into it. They threatened to take all the stuff I needed, and I got kicked out.

During the procedure I felt scared. I had no clue what to expect. The procedure started and I was in excruciating pain.

Immediately after the abortion I felt broken down and regretted the decision, but it was too late.

As time went on after the abortion, I began to come to terms with what I had done but not without severe depression getting in my way. I found help and forgiveness through my counselor and my boyfriend and God. I'm finally able to live happily and that's why I am silent no more.
