I think the biggest influence on my decision to have an abortion was the media-specifically messaging from women’s magazines and TV. I believed, or wanted to believe that it wasn’t a baby inside me-just a clump of cells. The media I ingested at the time led me to think it wasn’t really a big deal and that it was my right to do what I wanted with my body. I believed all the feminist lies. The feminists say they are for women, that they care about women but where are they after the abortion? Where are they when you’ve realized the horror of what you’ve done? They cannot be found… I cringe when I hear women encouraging other women about their “right” to abort their own child. This is why I am silent no more!
