It has caused me great pain

22 years ago I had an abortion. Since that time this child is always in my mind somewhere. It has caused me great pain, and it was not just a clump of cells as I was told. I would wish I could talk to women to tell them of the pain after, to perhaps help in some way that they may change their mind. My only consolation was talking my friend out of her abortion. Two years later she called me told me she was so happy, and thanked me. She told me I was the only one who told her to keep her child. I was able to help her by telling her my sadness after. I know this works and I wish more women as me can be on television or anywhere to let women know, abortion leaves the biggest scar on the heart.
