I Wanted the Baby

I wanted the baby. My mom and dad and boyfriend talked me out of it for financial and emotional reasons.

I hated myself and the whole idea of what I was doing.

Myself, I felt as if I killed something special, but I wouldn't have been able to give it everything I wanted to.

I prayed over and over for God's forgiveness and swore it would never happen again. I still to this day think of it.

It hasn't changed my life, but I wonder [how] different my life would be if my decision was different. I try not to think about this too much.
