2011 Saskatchewan 40 Hours for Life

Regional Coordinator Anita Sontag participated in 40 Hours for Life, a mini version of 40 Days for Life, which was held each day from Ash Wednesday until Palm Sunday. Participants walked back and forth in front of Saskatoon City Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, carrying pro-life signs and praying.

Each day, there were usually about 20 people present; some days up to 45. SNMA was represented by one “I Regret My Abortion” sign on approximately 2/3 of the days.

One day, a lady stopped because she saw the “I Regret My Abortion” sign and asked how she could help her 17-year-old, pregnant daughter who was wanting to have an abortion. We referred her to our Crisis Pregnancy Centre.
