My Unintended Journey to Abortion

It took five years before I could forgive myself and get fully healed. Our slogan in the 1960’s was “Make love, not war.” Actually, we began a holocaust on our unborn and put ourselves in horrible bondage. - Bobbie Jones

It is my pleasure to serve with the Silent No More Awareness Campaign for southeast Louisiana. I am working hard to educate the public, especially college students, regarding abortion, its dangers and manifold consequences.

My name is Bobbie Jones and I am the Regional Coordinator of New Orleans for Silent No More.  I personally had an abortion in 1972 and suffered emotionally, physically, and spiritually for 12 years.  At age 40, our Lord Jesus met me at my lowest point. With His mighty hand of forgiveness I began my journey into healing. A burning need came in me to tell the truth about abortion’s tragic aftermath.  That’s when I became Silent No More.
