Being able to give my testimony in a very public arena helped me not to be afraid to tell it any time God led me to.

Hello.  Welcome to Silent No More.  My name is Deborah Diasio, and I am blessed to be a Pennsylvania Regional Coordinator with Silent No More. I am someone who has experienced the pain and suffering after an abortion, and I feel blessed to be able to share my testimony with others in the hope of sparing them years of pain.

When I was a teenager, pregnant and afraid, I believed the lies about abortion - that it wasn't a baby, only a blob of cells that hadn't yet taken form, that it was my best option if I didn't want my plans for a career to be over, and that as soon as it was over, life would return to normal.  I wasn't told anything about the procedure or about what I might go through afterward - depression, guilt, shame, and despair. Years later, I deeply regretted my choice and could never seem to escape the guilt, shame, and the pain.  I suffered all those years afterward.  I was able to find healing through Rachel’s Vineyard. The suffering was finally over, as I was able to experience God’s goodness, mercy, and forgiveness.  He turned the situation into something good by making me realize that I could help others who would have a choice to make or those who have suffered as I have.  That's why I am Silent No More!

I want those who have been hurt by abortion to know that healing is available. You are not alone. God loves you and doesn't want you to hurt any longer.  Abortion hurts women.  As a Regional Coordinator in Pennsylvania with Silent No More, I will reach out to those in need, listen to them, and put them in touch with available resources, depending on their needs. I will also speak to inform the public that abortion is harmful emotionally, physically, and spiritually to women - that it doesn't help them as pro-choice advocates have claimed.  I will be here for you.
